Pastitio

Ingredients

  • 2 sdm margarine I used cooking oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic I used 1 tbsp storebought minced garlic
  • 1 onion chopped (I used 1 medium and 1 small size, instead chopping I made them into paste)
  • 1-2 chili seeded, slice long thinly (I omitted this one)
  • 250 g ground beef I used 500 g ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup 125 cc water (I used 1/2 cup vegetable/chicken stock)
  • 2 envelopes of Indonesian Royco with Beef Flavor I used Hungarian Vegeta seasoning; you can substitute Royco or Vegeta with other beef/chicken seasoning powder you prefer/have/can get
  • 1 tsp ground white pepper
  • 1/4 sdt ground nutmeg I used 1/4 of 1 whole nutmeg, grated
  • 250 g spaghetti I used 300 g instead, boil, with a little salt and a little oil/margarine/butter, drain
  • 4 eggs beaten (I used only 2)
  • 4 tbsp milk I used 3 tbsp instead
  • 50 g grated cheese
  • salt white pepper, and sugar to taste (for the beaten eggs)

Instructions

  • Heat oil, saute onion and garlic, then add in ground chicken, chicken stock, seasonings. Stir and cook until stock dries up.
  • Grease your pan with melted butter, line half of the cooked spaghetti. Top it with cooked chicken. Top it again with the rest of the spaghetti
  • Mix beaten eggs with a little sugar, salt, nutmeg and white pepper
  • Pour egg mixture on spaghetti evenly then top with grated cheese
  • Bake on a preheated 350 F for 25-30 minutes
