Tapai Ketan

Ingredients

  • 1 c of black glutinous rice
  • 2 c of water
  • 1 yeast ball

Instructions

  • crush yeast ball, set aside
  • soak rice in water for a couple of hours, rinse
  • place rice into a heatproof bowl, add in 2 c water, microwave til cooked, adding more water if needed
  • cool to room temperature before adding yeast ball
