Sop Ayam

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pot of water
  • 5 chicken pieces
  • Snap sugar peas slice
  • Green beans slice
  • Baby potatoes halved
  • Baby carrots slice
  • Mushroom buttons from can, drain
  • 1/2 sweet onion
  • 3 garlic
  • Celery salt mushrooms granules, Vegeta powder, to taste
  • A generous pinch of white pepper powder
  • Cooked pasta/macaroni

Instructions

  • Bring chicken to boil, remove scum, for 10 mins
  • Drop in sliced snap peas, carrots, and potatoes, cook until potatoes tender, for another 10-15 mins
  • Make paste of onion and garlic, stir into pot
  • Add in mushrooms
  • Season. If you don’t have celery salt etc, just use combination of salt, sugar and MSG to taste
  • Add in sliced green beans, continue boiling for 4-5 mins
  • Place cooked macaroni in serving bowl or deep soup plate, pour soup, and serve
