Cough Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 500 ml honey
  • 3 garlic optional

Instructions

  • Peel the onion and slice thinly
  • Peel the garlic and crush roughly.
  • Place sliced onion and garlic into a Mason jar and pour in honey.
  • Cover jar with its lid and let stand on kitchen counter for 12 H. Your honey will no longer be thick as it was, it will be runny. The onion and garlic will be soften, and they will float to the top.
  • Strain and chill in the fridge. It is good for 2-3 weeks (supposedly). You don’t have to strain it, but it will only be good for a week max.
  • Consume per tsp for 2-3 times a day.
