Mushrooms in Seaweed

Ingredients

Bakso Tahu

  • 1 bag of ready to use fried Tofu make a cut on one side, to fill
  • 10 dried shiitake mushrooms soaked in hot boiling water for an hour, drain
  • 1 red bell pepper seeded
  • 5 tbsp each flour and tapioca flour
  • 1/3 c hot boiling water
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Hungarian Vegeta powder

Shroom-Weed

  • 6 boxes of individual cut seaweed/nori sheets
  • 10 dried shiitake mushrooms soaked in hot boiling water for an hour, drain
  • 1 red bell pepper seeded
  • 5 tbsp each flour and tapioca flour
  • Salt black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tbsp Hungarian Vegeta powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/3 c hot boiling water
  • 2 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

Bakso Tahu

  • Into blender, process mushrooms and bell pepper
  • Mix in the rest of the ingredients
  • Fill into fried Tofu
  • Steam for 15 mins

Shroom Weed

  • Into food processor, blend shiitake and bell pepper
  • Then mix in the rest of the ingredients
  • Place a tbsp mixture on seaweed and fold
  • Repeat until all mixture used up
  • Steam for 10-15 mins
  • Enjoy as is, with soy sauce and pickled ginger, sriracha, spicy peanut sauce, as side dish, etc
